If you own a Bosch Kiox 300, you can navigate your planned komoot Tours on it and synchronize your completed Tours with your komoot account. For this to work, you need to set up the connection with the eBike Flow app as described in this article.

Note: Tours can only be transferred to Bosch if the region in which the Tour starts is unlocked in komoot. 

How to set up the connection

For the connection to work, you need both a komoot account and the eBike Flow app. 

  1. Log in to the eBike Flow app.
  2. In the eBike Flow app, go to "Settings" >"Connected services" > "komoot".

  3. On the next screen, tap on "Connect".

  4. Log in to your komoot account. Make sure that you use the email address that you see in the komoot app: Profile () > Settings () > Profile Info.

  5. Allow Bosch access to your komoot account by clicking Grant Access.

Now the connection is established.

Note: You cannot use your eBike Connect account to log in to the eBike Flow app. If you have only one eBike Connect account, please register new in the eBike Flow app. You can find more information about signing in the eBike Flow app in the Bosch Help Center.

Transferring Tours between komoot and Kiox 300

Once the connection is established, planned cycling Tours can be imported into the eBike Flow app as follows:

  1. In the eBike Flow app, go to "Map" > "My routes".
  2. Click on the download icon (top right) > "Import komoot routes".
  3. Swipe down to load the Tours.

Your in komoot planned Tours are now available in the eBike Flow app.

Attention: Only Tours which are saved as cycling sport in komoot will be transferred. 

Once a Tour is completed with the Kiox 300, the data is automatically sent to komoot and will appear shortly after under Profile () > Tours > Completed.

Note: Only activities longer than 150m will be uploaded to komoot and only routes shorter than 250km will be transferred from komoot to Bosch.

Navigating komoot Tours

  1. Connect your eBike to the eBike Flow app.
  2. In the eBike Flow app, click on "Map".
  3. Select "My routes".
  4. Pick the komoot Tour you want to ride.
  5. Click on "Go".

You can recognize komoot Tours by the fact that "KOMOOT" being added in front of the Tour name. Follow the instructions on the Kiox 300.

Note: The navigation instructions are done by Bosch.

Disconnect

If you want to disconnect the Kiox 300 from komoot, you can do so in the eBike Flow app.

  1. Log in to the eBike Flow app.
  2. In the eBike Flow app, go to "Settings" >"Connected services" >"komoot".

  3. On the next screen, tap "Disconnect from komoot".
  4. Confirm the disconnection by clicking on "Disconnect".

By disconnecting, no more data will be transferred. Please note that the previously synced data will not be affected and will still be visible under your completed Tours.
