Sharing Tours, Highlights and Collections
It doesn't matter whether you have planned or completed Tours, bookmarked or recommended Highlights or bookmarked or your own Collections. After selecting the respective content, you get the option of sharing it via social media, messenger (Telegram, WhatsApp, Messages, etc.), e-mail or via a link, both via the app and on the website.
- Select the content you want to share
- Click Share ()
- Choose how you want to share the content

- Open your Profile ()
- Select the content you want to share
- Click Share ()
- In case you want to share a Tour: Choose Share Tour
- Select how you want to share the content
Note: Only apps from third-party platforms (Instagram, facebook, Twitter, etc.) that are already installed on the mobile phone/tablet are available for sharing.

Post on social media
To share content on social media, you must first log in to the desired platform. If you are not yet registered, you will automatically be redirected to the registration page.
When sharing completed Tours, komoot offers the choice of sharing only the Tour stats, only the map or all information.
Attention: To share Tours via facebook, the visibility of the Tour must be set to Anyone. Learn more about the privacy settings.
Sharing via link
After selecting the desired content and clicking on Share () or for Android (), you will always be given the option to copy the link of the Tour, Highlight or Collection and use it as you wish.
Note: If "Only me" or "Close friends" is selected in the privacy setting, () Visible to anyone with link must be toggled first.
