No matter for which (Cycling-)Sport the tour was planned (Road Cycling, Bike Touring, Mountain Biking, Gravel Riding, Enduro Mountain Biking) you can get the estimated duration and difficulty calculated for e-bikes during planning.

  1. Open the Route planner via the website or the Plan () menu in the app
  2. Click on the Sport
  3. If a bike sport has been selected e-Bike () will appear
  4. Enable e-Bike ()

You can see if the e-Bike planning is selected by the lightning icon (), which appears next to the symbol of the respective sport. This means that you can also see whether a tour has been completed with an e-bike. By activating the e-bike mode, the average speed as well as the difficulty of the route is adjusted. The route itself won't be changed.

Example: When planning a mountain bike tour, the route suggestion in the planner will be the same regardless of whether MTB or e-MTB was selected, but the speed and difficulty will be adjusted accordingly.
