Note: The komoot World Pack (also referred to as Complete Package on the receipt), as well as all Region Packs, are one-time payments. Therefore, no cancellation is necessary for these products.

You can access information about your komoot Premium subscription at any time by visiting the profile settings on the website and logging in with the account you used to purchase the Premium subscription. On this page you will find the current status of your subscription, the renewal date or expiration date, and instructions on how to cancel or reactivate it.

In case of cancellation of the Premium subscription, only the automatic renewal will be deactivated. This means that you can continue to use the product until the end of the period you have already paid for. However, if you change your mind and want to use the subscription again, you will have the option to withdraw the cancellation at any time before the subscription expires.

 Tip: The premium subscription only needs to be purchased once and can then be used both via the komoot website and the komoot app: Sync content between devices.

Cancel or renew komoot Premium

If you purchased komoot Premium through the Android or iOS app, you will need to cancel or reactivate it in the Google Play Store or the App Store. Depending on which platform you purchased the subscription through, please select the appropriate tab and follow the instructions to manage your subscription.

If you purchased your Premium subscription on our website:

  1. Log in to your komoot account from a PC or a mobile browser (not the mobile app) at www.komoot.com.
  2. Click on More () in the upper right corner.
  3. Select  Settings.
  4. Tap Premium.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription.
  6. Confirm your cancellation by clicking Yes, cancel subscription.

Attention: If the Premium menu is not visible in the settings, you are logged in with a different account than the one you used to make the purchase. Read more here: Purchased product not available.

If you have subscribed to komoot Premium via the komoot app on your Android device, you cannot cancel it via the komoot app, but only directly via the Play Store. Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your device.
  2. At the top right, tap on your profile picture.
  3. Tap Payments and subscriptions.
  4. Hit Subscriptions.
  5. Choose komoot from the list of your subscriptions.
  6. Select Cancel subscription.
  7. Pick the reason for cancelling and click Continue.
  8. Confirm the cancellation by hitting Cancel subscription.

If you have subscribed to komoot Premium via the komoot app on your iOS device, you cannot cancel it via the komoot app, but only directly via the App Store. Proceed as follows:

  1. Open the phone settings on your iPhone/ iPad.
  2. Click on your name/ AppleID.
  3. Go to Subscriptions.
  4. Select komoot.
  5. Click Cancel Subscription.
  6. Confirm the cancellation by hitting Confirm.

How is the cancellation policy?

In case of a cancellation of the Premium subscription, only the automatic renewal will be deactivated. This means that you can continue to use the product until the end of the already paid period. Where can I see when my Premium subscription will renew?

I don't see a Premium status in the profile settings.

If you've purchased a Premium subscription, but you don't see any information in your profile settings, it's possible that you're either signed in with a different account or that you've purchased the World Pack instead of Premium. After canceling Premium will I still have access to the previously purchased World Pack?

Yes! If you purchased the World Pack prior to purchasing Premium, you will continue to have access to it after your Premium subscription expires.

Will I get access to the same Collections again if I re-subscribe to Premium?

Yes! To make sure this works, make ensure to purchase Premium again with the same account you used before.

How can I switch from the Premium subscription to another product?

The Premium subscription offers the full range of features. Here is the difference between the World Pack or Region Packs and Premium. If you decide to downgrade from Premium to the World Pack or Region Packs, follow the cancellation instructions and then purchase the desired product.
