If you’re receiving tips and Highlights via email for the wrong region, you can change the location stored in the app. We send out tips based on the last place that we have stored as your location. Open the app with the GPS signal activated. Komoot will recognize your location and we’ll send tips for the correct region next time.
If you have used komoot on a holiday trip and haven't reopened the app at home yet, we will continue to send you tips for the location of your last trip. As soon as you open the app again, we will automatically correct the location for the next mails.
It's possible you will get Highlight mails for the wrong location in the same week you change your location. We gather the data once, then send the mails to all users who signed up for them at the time step by step. It will be corrected by the next week.
If there are few Highlights in your immediate area, it could be that you receive them for a larger region. This is generated automatically. We cannot manually update or limit the radius you receive tips for.
