It’s possible to follow and be followed by other users on komoot. Here is an overview of the information that’s accessible to your followers and how to manage followers on your profile.
Accessible info to followers
Followers can access your history of public Tours, including statistics, your routes, your photos and Highlights, and they can see whom you completed various Tours with. They will not see any Tours you mark as private. More information about public and private Tours can be found in our help article: link
Removing users that follow you or that you are following
To remove the connection to other users, i.e. to stop receiving or sending activity reports, sign into your account on our website. Once you’re logged in, go to your profile page, the first option when you click on your profile picture in the top right corner. On your profile, you can see the number of "followers" and "following" in the top left corner under your username. Click on one of the options to see the full list.
In the list of followers click on the text "Remove Follower" under the followers' name to remove them.
In the list of "following" people just click the green word that says following with a checkmark to remove the connection.
It is not possible to remove followers on our mobile app.
There is currently no possibility to block users from following you again.
